General FAQs

Thank you for registering for a Centre offering! You will receive a separate email giving you access to your offering typically within three (3) business days. Thank you for your patience!

When you register for an offering from the Centre, you will receive a confirmation/receipt immediately. You will receive a separate email giving you access to the course, typically within three (3) business days.

The first time you register, you will also receive a “Welcome Email” (in addition to your specific course enrolment email) asking you to set your password to access your account. Please follow the link in the email to do so.

Once your account is set up, you can log in here to access any educational offerings you are enrolled in.

If you are not sure if you received your access emails yet, you can search your email for the following sender: noreply@noreply.thinkific.com 

If after three (3) business days you still cannot find the access email -or- you received it and are still having trouble accessing your offering, please contact info@gclt.org with any support questions. Please note that a response may take up to three (3) business days.

Supplementary materials are contained within the educational offering. You will receive unlimited access to this offering and the materials.

To access supplementary materials, first log in here to access your Dashboard.

Find your course and click “Start Course”.

When you start your course, you can see a summary of all available materials on the left side menu. Click the material name to go directly to it or use the “Next Module” button to go through all materials in order.

If you are accessing on your mobile (cell) phone, you can view the menu showing the various materials by clicking the three bars on the top left—or you can click “Next Module” to go through all the materials in order.

Yes! The Centre maintains records of CERPs earned in case of an IBCLC® recertification audit.

Educational offerings by the Global Centre for Lactation Training (GCLT)® are optional and are not the sole way to pursue IBCLC®
